Joe Hilliard, host of JHCC, is a local nuisance.
Raised in Corpus Christi he left for college knowing he would never return. 13 years later, he did. Since then he’s started all kinds of trouble including:
- Corpus Christi Film Society, co-creating The Corpus Christi 7-Day Film Project, Crash the Coast Film Festival, Corpus Christi Ride-In Theater and the CCFS at the Art Museum Screening Series
- 40 Things to Do in Corpus Christi (also on Facebook), an exploration of everything to do in Corpus Christi testing the oft-repeated phrase, “There’s nothing to do in Corpus Christi.”
- Co-founder, Destination Bayfront, a plan to turn the Bayfront into mixed-use urban space
- Host of JHCC, a radio talk show on 1440 KEYS AM from 2005-2010
- Columnist for the Corpus Christi Caller-Times from 2010-2011
